Biography

Thomas Jackson Gilchrist was born on 8 October 1927 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of Grady Greely Gilchrist (1898–1983) and Margaret Hilda (Clarke) Gilchrist (1905–1965).

In 1930, Thomas, who was called Jack and was 2 years old, was living in household of his maternal uncle, George Clark, in Mount Oliver, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.^[1]

In 1940, Thomas was 12 years old and was living in the household of his father, Grady Gilchrist, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.^[2]

Thomas Jackson Gilchrist was 22 years old at the time of his marriage to Delores Jean Bryan on 24 September 1949 in Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia.^[3] They were the parents of at least one child and possibly others.

Thomas Jackson Gilchrist died on 31 December 2010 at the age of 83. His last place of residence was in Arizona.^[4]
