Biography

Dorilda, the daughter of Joachim Gendron and Euphemie Fournier, was born 7 August 1884, in Lincoln, Rhode Island. [1][2] (Her birthdate is cited as 15 Aug 1885 in one census record.[3]

On 10 August 1908, she married Francis Lucien Towner in Central Falls, Rhode Island.[4] The couple had two sons:

  • Oliva Emile Towner, 6 Oct 1909[5]
  • Ernest Philias Towner, 28 June 1911 - 15 Jan 1913[6]

Widowed in 1946, [7] Dorilda was living on her own by the time of the 1950 census. She herself died in 1953 and was buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.[8]
