Early Life

Edith May Geary was born 29 April 1876 in Rosanna,^[1] Oxford, Ontario, Canada.^[2] Edith was the youngest of seven known children born to Charles Geary and Persis Elizabeth (Hamilton) Geary.

Edith lived on the family farm in Rosanna, Norwich South, Oxford South, Ontario, Canada from her birth until her marriage. Edith's siblings living on the family farm:

1. 1881: Albert (aged 24), Melbourn (aged 19), Ida Jane (aged 17), Minnie (aged 14), George (aged 12), and Emma (aged 7).^[3]
