Biography

Beulah (Gargus) Bergner was a Missourian.

Beulah was born on November 10, 1925, in Washington County, Missouri, to Earl and Edna Gargus. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] Her name is spelled "Bula" in the Missouri birth index.

Beulah was enumerated for the federal census on April 12, 1930. She was 4 years old at this time, and was living with parents Earl and Edna, and siblings Pearl and Chester, in Johnson Township, Washington County, Missouri. [1]

In 1935, Beulah was inferred to be living in Johnson Township, Washington County, Missouri. [2]

Beulah was enumerated for the federal census in April 1940. She was 14 years old at this time, and was living with parents Earl and Edna, and siblings Pearl, Chester, Howard, Evelyn, Robert, and Kathryn, in Johnson Township, Washington County, Missouri. She was attending school at this time. [2]

On October 31, 1947, Beulah was married to Carl Bergner in Franklin County, Missouri, when she was 21 years old. [7] [8] [9] [10]

Beulah was enumerated for the federal census on April 13, 1950. She was 24 years old at this time, and was living with husband Carl and son Carl, in Johnson Township, Washington County, Missouri, with her location being described as "in the hills between Brazil, Cicero, and Indian Creeks." She was a housekeeper. [3]

Beulah died on February 21, 2002. [5][6][11] She was buried in Sullivan IOOF Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.[12]
