Marie Gagnon, widow of Jean Baptiste Dinelle and with the given age of about eighty-two years, died 29 Mar 1823 and was buried 31 Mar 1823 in the cemetery of La Purification-de-la-Bienheureuse-Vierge-Marie, Repentigny, Bas-Canada. [3]
Research Notes
Recorded as Marie or Marie Agnes throughout her marriage. PRDH lists Jean Baptiste Glinel/Dinel/Deminel married to Marie Charlotte Gagnon, Saint-Joachim 1768. [4]
Jean Gagnon and Marguerite Lavoie had a daughter Josephe Gagnon in 1743. There is no further information on Josephe. It’s possible that she is the one who married Jean Dinelle in 1768, however, there is no Marie in her name and PRDH has attributed this union to Marie Charlotte.
