Descendant of John Michael (Frey) Fry.

Edward Michael Frye given at birth. Named after father Theodore's best friend Edward Michael Untch but always called Michael. With Ed Untch's blessing on 25 November 1957 he legally changed his name to Michael Edward Frye.[2]
Michael returned from India at age 5 to the port of New York on 7 July 1953. His father Theodore R. Frye was assigned to New Delhi as a diplomat. Others in the family returning on the SS United States from Southampton included mother Martha E. Frye and sisters Susan Frye and Margaret Frye.[3]

Michael and Jane Elizabeth Hayward married 24 June 1972 in Machias, Maine.[4]

Michael worked in Education and Training for the U.S. Air Force from 5 May 1975 until his retirement from Civil Service on 1 October 2013. He worked at Loring AFB in Maine, Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts, and Edwards AFB in California.[4]
