Thomas Fish was born about 1665, probably in Sandwich, Plymouth Colony, where his parents resided. He was the son of Nathaniel Fish and his second wife Lydia Miller.[1] His birth was not recorded in the town or colony records.
He married Margaret Woodworth on 10 January 1697 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[2]
The Boston News-Letter dated 23 April 1736 stated that 'Thomas Fish, of Duxbury, [was] found dead in the road a few miles from Plymouth; had been subject to fits.'[3]
His estate was inventoried on 26 May 1736 and found to be insolvent. Margaret received some necessary items from his estate.[4] Thomas' son Nathaniel was assigned administration. The estate consisted mainly of household goods and farm stock, no real estate, and totaled £133.[5][6][7]
