- Finguine mac Cathail Con-cen-máthair was from the Glendamnach branch of the Eoganachta. His father was Cathal Cú-cen-máthair mac Cathaíl who died in 0665.
- Finguine mac Cathail Con-cen-máthair succeeded Colgú mac Faílbe Flaind as king of Munster in 678.
