Biography

Baptism: 13 Nov 1789 at Gressenhall, Norfolk: "Whiteman and Harry-T?, sons of Edmund Farrer and Ann his wife, late, Betts spinster privately bap." [1]

Whiteman Farrer of this parish bachelor and Sarah Archer of this parish spinster were married in this church (St Pancras, Middlesex) by banns with consent of--- this seventeenth day of May 1815. Witnesses Thos Whitrall(?), A Archer. [2]

1841 census at Sauers Buildings, Christchurch, Whitechapel, London & Middlesex, England (11 people): Whiteman Ferrer, Male, 50, Brush maker; Sarah Ferrer, Female, 10, b Middlesex. In house of William Phillips. Also a Tuck family is living there. [3]

1851 census at Shoreditch Workhouse, Saint Leonard Shoreditch, Middlesex, England: Whiteman Farrar, inmate, Male, 67, Chair Maker, widower. [4]

He died on 7 May 1859 and was buried on 12 May 1859 aged 75, at St Leonard, Shoreditch. [5]
