Maternal DNA relationship is confirmed with Gary's mother Hazel by two FTDNA Family Finder matches between Gary and Hazel's children from a following marriage, Gary's half-siblings, Russell and Joy with 1558cM and 1663cM matches respectively.

Paternal DNA relationship is confirmed by a FTDNA Family Finder match of 779 centiMorgans between Gary and his 1st cousin Bill Batchelor, grandson of their common grandparents William Horatio Batchelor and Isabella Walker. Paternal Y-DNA relationship is confirmed through Y-chromosome DNA testing of B.B., son of Millard Batchelor, FTDNA kit #943562, and his 4th cousin once removed, myself Gary Williams, FTDNA kit #448517, match at a Genetic Distance of 1 on 37 markers thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their MRCA James Batchelor.
