Heinrich was born on 17 July 1886 as son of Adolph Faller and Josephine Weiß. He was only baptized on 27 September.[1]
In World War I, he fought as a volunteer ("Kriegsfreiwilliger") in the 3rd company of Infantery Regiment 113 (3. Kompanie Infanterie-Regiment 113). He was killed in action near Souchez on 21 December 1914.[2]
His death was announced in a casualty list of 12 January 1915.[3]
His name is on his father's gravestone at the St. Oswald chapel, but is missing on the Steig section of the war memorial in Breitnau (to which Steig was incorporated in 1935).
