I had the same problem with a dead cousin (who had been a State Police official) that would link 2 branches of the family to the main WikiTree. He was already on WikiTree, but totally private, because something in the hidden profile might prove the innocence of someone he had arrested and was being kept in jail even after his death. I had to make a duplicate public profile.

Good afternoon. I have just started my DNA journey and discovered that perhaps my birth mother didn't know who my father was. Nothing is lining up. I was able to reach out on 23andme to my second cousin who believes that my father was a Raffaldt or a Steen. Any assistance that you can give me with this would be greatly appreciated. I am anxious to see if any of your Raffaldts have DNA posted. I've done all this research on Wikiteee only to find out that none of it's true. Ca la vie
