Sergeant Asa Everett served with Suffolk County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
ASA EVERETT,[1] b. (recorded at Methuen), 30 Aug 1739 son of Ebenezer and Joanna (Stevens) Everett; d. at Dedham, 4 Jan 1827;[2] m. 21 Apr 1785, ELEANOR FULLER, b. at Dedham, 1 May 1754 daughter of Seth and Sarah (MacKanab) Fuller;[3] Eleanor d. at Dedham, 3 Oct 1824.[4]
Asa and Eleanor lived in third parish of Dedham. Their four children lived on the homestead. Asa served as sergeant in the company of Capt. William Bullard on 19 April 1775.[5][6]
Asa Everett and Eleanor Fuller were parents of four children born at Dedham. Children Joel, Eleanor, and Seth did not marry. They were living together in Dedham in 1850.[7]

ii ELEANOR EVERETT, b. 1788; d. at Dedham, 22 Dec 1863.
iii SETH EVERETT, b. 1792; d. at Dedham, 26 Feb 1870. Seth did not leave a will and the probate records give his sister widow Irene Ellis as next of kin and only heir-at-law.[8]
iv IRENE EVERETT, b. 1794; d. at Norwood, MA, 21 Jan 1873; m. at Dedham, 28 Oct 1832, JOEL ELLIS, b. at Dedham, 1788 son of Joel and Azuba (Morse) Ellis; Joel d. at Dedham, 26 Feb 1852.
