Margaret Jane (Espie) Harkness was born in Ireland.
Margaret Jane was born 7 Feb 1881 at Drumcraw, Cookstown, County Tyrone. She was the daughter of Samuel Espie and Sarah Ann Bell. [1]
On 2 October 1901 at 2nd Moneymore Presbyterian, she married Thomas Harkness of Lismoney, son of Thomas Harkness, farmer. Witnessed by Thomas James Espie and Anna Bella Bell. Thomas was her father's cousin. [2]
