Biography
Sarah Ann (Bell) Espie was born in Ireland.
Sarah Ann was born 5 Aug 1851. She was the daughter of John Bell and Jane Blair, of Derrycrummy, near Cookstown, County Tyrone.
By 1878 the family had moved to Drumgarrell, Derryloran, County Tyrone.
On 13 June 1878 at 3rd Cookstown Presbyterian, she married Samuel Espie of Drumcraw, farmer, son of James Espie, farmer. Witnessed by Richard Espie and Margaret Bell. [1] They were first cousins via Brice Blair.
The couple lived at Drumcraw after this.
