Birth

Frank was born in 1849 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire.^[1] He was the son of John Edwards and Rebecca Hunt. His baptism took place at the parish church of St Peter and St Paul on 10th February 1850.^[2] His father gave his occupation on the register as mason.

Marriage

Frank Edwards and Mary Williams were married after banns on 18th September 1869 at St Clement's, Oxford, Oxfordshire^[3]. They were bachelor and spinster, both of full age and living in St Clements at the time. Frank was a mason and the son of John Edwards who was also a mason. Mary was the daughter of James Williams who was a labourer. They each signed their own name on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were Mark Edwards and Ann Edwards^[4].
