Johann Peter Eckermann was born in 1792. He is best known as amanuensis of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and as the literary editor of Goethe’s opus.

He married Johanna Sophie Christiana Catharina Bertram on 9 Nov 1831 in Nordheim near Göttingen.[1]

He passed away in 1854 in Weimar.[2]
