Biography

Damase Narcisse Alphonse was born on October 23, 1859, on of Francois Xavier Dubreuil and Marie Bourassa. He was baptized the next day at Sainte-Hénédine, Dorchester, Canada East.[1]


He married Adele Ida Caron on 11 November 1894 in South Berwick, Maine. [2]

Together, Narcisse and Ida Adele had the following known children, all born in York, Maine:

  1. Mary Annie Dubreuil, b. Aug 20, 1896
  2. Louise Dubreuil, born 16 March 1897, d. 12 Jan 1901
  3. Adele M Dubreuil born 28 March 1899[3], died April 3, 1899
  4. Frank Dubreuil, born 5 Feb 1900[4]
  5. Alfred "Fred" Dubreuil, born October 22, 1901
  6. male son Dubreuil, born and died at 6 hours old, on June 11, 1904

note: there appear to be some transcription errors in the birth records of children, as the names of the next child are used on each birth record rather than the accurate name.

His first wife died four days after giving birth to a premature child who passed away, on June 15, 1904, in York, Maine.


He remarried to Anne Tremblay, daughter of Hilaire Tremblay and Françoise Lajoie, on 30 August 1910 in Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. [5]
