Biography
Francois was born about 1783, the adopted son of Pierre Dubreuil and Marie Magdeleine Venne. Of note, his birthdate is unclear, but adoptive parentage is established by his marriage record. [1]
François ____, minor boy, brought up by Pierre Dubreuil and Magdeleine Jeanveine, married Marie Louise Basinet, of age, daughter of Maurice Basinet and of Marie Louise Beaudry, on 12 October 1801 in Saint-Enfant-Jésus church of Pointe-aux-Trembles de Montréal.[2] Pierre Dubreuil and his wife are listed as nourriciers and not adoptive parents. ie foster-parents.
He married Marie Louise Bazinet on October 12, 1801 at Pointe-aux-Trembles de Montréal, (St-Enfant-Jésus).[1]
He passed away on June 14, 1847 in Saint-Césaire , at the age of 64 years old. He was buried the next day at Saint-Césaire (now in Rouville county). [3]
