Biography

William Douglas was born about Feb 1856 in English Canada. His parents were also born in English Canada.^[1] His FindAGrave memorial states that he was born on 22 Feb 1857 in Nova Scotia.^[2] He was an itinerant Scottish Presbyterian minister from Pictou County, Nova Scotia.^[3] Online family trees say that he was the son of Alexander Douglas.

William and Julia were married about 1896.^[1] They had three children:

In 1900, William and Julia V. Douglas, and two children lived in Maine Township, Otter Tail, Minnesota. William was a preacher who came to the United States in 1894.^[1]

William Douglas, 47 years old, died on 12 Aug 1904 at the North Pacific Sanatorium, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon,^[7] and is buried at Tahoma Cemetery, Yakima, Yakima, Washington.^[2]
