Leon Normand Doucet was born on September 8, 1945. He was the son of son of Norman N. Doucet and Jeanette N. Doucet.

He was from Manchester, New Hampshire.

He joined the United States Marines on July, 1965.

Leon became a Corporal with Company B, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st MARDIV (Rein) FMF.

He was killed in action in Quang Nam, Vietnam on February 5, 1967 during the Vietnam War.
