Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1877. She was the daughter of Carl Dorries and Elizabeth Naumann.

At the age of 22 years, 6 months and 8 days, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Dorries married Arthur (John/Jack) Gillam, son of Arthur John Gillam and Isabelle Locke, on 2 May 1900 in Queensland.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Dorries and Arthur (John/Jack) Gillam appeared on the Electoral Roll between 1903 and 1934 living at Queen Street, Crow's Nest. John was a bootmaker.
