Jeremiah Dial Sr is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A033417.
  • Issued a land warrant in Bedford County Tennessee

Jeremiah was born 1730 in Ireland. Since he has a son also named Jeremiah, I have given him a Sr attached to his name.

He was the original Dial family ancestor in America. Jeremiah came to Charleston, SC from Ulster, Ireland with his family in 1772.

He passed away in1805. Some sources say that he died Nov. 4, 1805 while others say he died Jan. 1, 1805. Find a Grave lists 1 January 1805 so that is the one I am using.

He fought in the Revolutionary War.

He is buried at Gilders Creek Cemetery in Newberry County, South Carolina.

Dial-611 and Dial-915 appear to represent the same person because: After reviewing profile, I am not sure where I found the first name of

Mary so will merge for now and do more research later.
