Michele di Giglia is a Corleone native resident, the son of Leoluca di Giglia and Teresa Paternostro, who married in 1717.
Michele marries Maria Guagliardo, daughter of the late Saverio Guagliardo and the living Anna, on 6 November 1746. His father's name is illegible in this record, but appears to begin with an "L." Leoluca has died by this time, and Teresa, whose surname is not recorded, is living.[1]
Maestro Michele and Maria have at least five children: Anna (c. 1749), Gaetana (c. 1753), Leoluca (c. 1760), Giuseppa (c. 1762), and Natale (c. 1763).
Anna marries Simone Lala on 22 October 1769. Her mother has died by this time.[2]
Gaetana marries at least twice, first to Francesco Spinella on 20 June 1773. [3] Gaetana remarries to Leoluca di Leonardo on 13 September 1778.[4]
Leoluca marries Giuseppa lo Liggio on 16 January 1780.[5]
Giuseppa marries Salvatore Profita on 13 October 1782.[6]
Natale marries Orsola Catania on 9 February 1783.[7]
Maestro Michele remarries to Salvatrice Fratello, the daughter of the late Nunzio Fratello and living Pietra Finocchio, on 2 December 1769.[8]
