Biography

Amaziah was born in 1813. He was the son of Morris Davis and Margaret Ward. He passed away in 1851.^[1]

In 1850 thirty seven year old Amaziah is enumerated in the census record for Grayson County, Virginia. His father, Morris Davis, is also included, along with thirty year old Edith Davis, presumably sister. Amaziah is a farmer with real estate valued at $200. ^[2]
