Biography

Walter was born in 1884, in Geneva, New York and is the youngest child of Germain Davis and Elinor Goff.

Walter was married twice. His first wife was Frances Mesner and they were married 18 June 1916, in Hamburg, New York. On 29 Apr 1925, in Wayne, New York, Walter was granted a divorce from Frances for disertion. No children to this marriage.

His second marriage was to Charlotte F. Reinecke was on 29 Apr 1925, in Detroit, Michigan, the same day his divorce was final. Although the word "annulled" was written on the marriage register, Walter and Charlotte stayed married until his death in 1955. There were apparently no children from this marriage either.

Walter Germain Davis died at the age of 71, in Elmira, Chemung County, New York , and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in that town.^[1]
