Biography

Mary Catherine was born in 1761 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Jean George Louis Dauphinee and Marie Elizabeth Banvard.[1] She was baptised March 14th, 1761 at St. John's Anglican Church.[2]

She married Jean Christopher Jeanperrin son of Jean Urbain Jeanperrin and Jeanne Tatterei on 26-Oct-1779. [3][4] They had at least 11 children together.

The family moved from St. Margaret's Bay to River John, (now Pictou County) Nova Scotia about 1793.

She passed away December 30th 1835, and is buried at the Methodist Cemetery in River John.[5][6]
