Biography

This profile is part of the Llangadog, Carmarthenshire One Place Study.

Fred was born in 1875 and was baptised in St. Arvan, Monmouthshire, Wales. He was the son of Thomas Dance & Emma.[1] His birth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1875 in the Chepstow district.[2]

In the 1891 census Frederick (age 16) was the single son of Thomas Dance in a four roomed property called Ffinnant, Mountain Road, Llangadock, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Wales.[3][4]

In the 1901 census Fred (age 25), General labourer, was the single son of Thomas Dance in Ffinnant, Hamlet, Llangadock, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Wales.[5][6]

Ernest's death (age 33) was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1908 in the Llandovery district.[7]
