Biography
Maria Criscione is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Salvatore Criscione and Calogera (or Carolina) Birtone. Maria's mother marries as Calogera, and appears as Carolina in the index entry for Maria's marriage.
Maria marries Vincenzo Briganti, son of Salvatore Briganti and Francesca Terrusa, on 20 February 1927.[1]
Maria and Vincenzo have at least one child, Salvatore (1932).
Salvatore is born 12 September 1932.[2] He is named after both of his grandfathers.
Salvatore appears among the defendants at the 1969 Mafia trial in Bari, Italy. By this time, Maria and Vincenzo have both died.[2]
