Biography

Maurice was born in 1887. He was the son of Fred E. Cowing. In the 1900 census Mourice (age 12), Student, was the son of Fred Cowing in Precinct 16, Huerfano, Colorado.^[1] In the 1910 census Maurice (age 22), Bookkeeper, was the single son of Fred E Cowing in Walsenburg, Huerfano, Colorado, United States.^[2]

In the 1920 census Morris (age 32), Assistant Cashier, was the married head of household in Walsenburg, Huerfano, Colorado.^[3] In the 1930 census Marres (age 42), Cashier, was the married head of household in Walsenburg, Huerfano, Colorado, United States.^[4] In the 1940 census Maurice (age 52), Cashier, was the married head of household in Walsenburg, Huerfano, Colorado.^[5]

Maurice died in 1950 and was buried in the Masonic Cemetery, Walsenburg, Huerfano County, Colorado, United States.^[6]
