Marie Rosalie (Cote) Côté lived
in Canada, Nouvelle-France.

Marie-Rosalie Côté was born about 1755. She was the daughter of Gabriel Côté and Marie Label. ^[1]

At age 17 Marie-Rosalie married Eitenne Rious on 15 Jan 1772 in L'Isle-Verte, Quebec. ^[2] There were eight known children born into this marriage.

She passed away in 1794. In the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety-four, the nineteen of January, by our undersigned priest, priest of the Trois-Pistoles and other places, was buried in the cemetery of this parish, the body of Rosalie Côté, wife of Sr. Étienne Rioux, lord of this parish, who died the day before yesterday in the evening, about thirty-nine years old, after several days of insanity that made her lose all judgment and all knowledge, without having been able to no sacrament before his death which was unexpected of this required according to the order. ^{[3] [4]}
