Margaret (Anna) Colford was born on May 9, 1930, her father, John Colford, was 25, and her mother, Julia Kervin, was 30. She married Leo Kenneth Colford on November 25, 1947, in Doaktown, New Brunswick, Canada. They had 12 children in 14 years. She died on August 21, 2006, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 76, and was buried in Stanley, New Brunswick, Canada.

"Annie" Margaret Colford, wife of Leo Colford, of Cross Creek, NB, occurred on August 21, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 9, 1930 in Howard, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Julie (Kervin) Colford. Anna was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Stanley, NB. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Kenneth (Helen) of Stanley, Perry (Mary Jane) of Stanley, Maxwell (Carmen) of Taymouth and Ronnie (Joanne) of Green Hill; eight daughters, Alice (Fred) Veno of Blissfield, Betty (Edwin) Donnally of Cross Creek, Bernice (Darrel) Green of Stanley, Wilma (Gilbert) Thibodeau of Doaktown, Judy (Greg) Kirby of Green Hill, Valerie Colford of Cross Creek, Florence (Donald) Colford of Doaktown and Faye (Philip) Colford of Doaktown; 27 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; four brothers, Allie, Carl, James all of Weaver Siding and Wallace (Dorothy) of Blissfield; two sisters, Edna Colford and Jean Storey both of Weaver Siding; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by one granddaughter Amanda Colford and grandsons Jimmy Lee and Joel Colford; two brothers, Wallace and Philip; four sisters, Flora Caissie, Louise Woodcock, Helena Colford and Freda Colford.
