Youngest son of Claude Clawson Sr and Alberta "Mae" Stipp. Married Marion Sturm 1 Sep 1947. He was an adorable child and was very much loved by his father, mother and older brother Claude. He was brought up in Oakland, Alameda, CA. Both of his parents were teachers. He had a good education. I don't know why John and Marion moved to Los Angeles. But I do know that John died to young of cancer. Leaving a very young wife and two young children. I have had no contact with the family. But my Grandmother Juel kept in touch with her sister in law Marion until Juel's death. After that my Aunt Claudia kept up the communications with Marion.
I have a book Lindbergh The Lone Eagle His Life and Epoch Making Flight that was John Clawson's in my bookcase. I would be more than happy to send it along with photos to his boys
