Biography

Franklin was born 29 Apr 1817 in Vermont. Pedigree files^[1] show him marrying Eleanor Curtis in 1850 in Elk Grove Village, Cook, Illinois, United States, an original source needed to validate. Possibly three children: Mary C. Clark (1853-1874), Ella Frances Clark (1860-1928) and William F. Clark (1866-1934). He and his wife are further mentioned in the marriage record for his daughter Ella who married Eduard James Dunn 8 Jul 1882 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The daughter, Ella was born in ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Illinois^[2] The 1880 census records him as a farmer, age 63, who was born in Vermont and in 1880 was living in Palatine, Cook, Illinois, United States with his wife Ellen and two children Ellen (age 20) and Willie (age 14). His wife was age 51 and had been born in England. ^[3] Findagrave gives his death as 6 August 1884. ^[4] This record gives his burial as New Lisbon, Juneau, Wisconsin, United States of America and his date of birth as 29 Apr 1817
