William was born in 1806.
In 1861, William, farmer, was residing in Lot 25, Prince Co., with a family consisting of 1 male 45 to 60.[1]
In 1881, William, farmer, 74, born England, was residing in Lot 25, Prince Co.,[2]
He passed away in 1887. "At Wilmot Valley, on the 3rd, William Ching, age 81. Native of Devonshire, England. Emigrated in 1842." [3] William Ching at Lot 25, on the 4th, age 75. Native of Alton, Hampshire, England." [4]
A Bridge to the Past, a history of Wilmot Valley says "Details on William's wife are unknown but some information exists regarding his daughters: Maria married a Captain Wallace. Mary married Ernest Palmer and had one son."
