Biography
Marie François was born in late 1736, the daughter of Jean Chauvin and Marie Marthe Blaine Habelin, and baptized the same day at Sainte-Famille, Boucherville.
Research Notes
The image & writing of the baptismal record is very unclear - the entry located between entries dated the 26th of November and the 13th of December. Month looks clearly to be November, but date possibly could be the thirthieth (trentième) but looks more like the third (troisième). If the third is correct, the month should be December (assuming entries are in sequence, which surrounding records appear to be). Since Genealogie Quebec has interpreted this to be December 3rd, that is the date I have used, noting the uncertainty.
