Celeste Emerante Chauvin was born on January 2, 1819 in Assumption, Louisiana. She was christened on June 15, 1819 in Plattenville, Assumption, Louisiana.[1]
She married on 1 September 1834 in Thibodaux, Louisiana to Pierre Thibodaux, son of deceased Pierre Olivier and Genevieve LeBlanc. She was 15 years old. Pierre was 55.[2]
