Ebenezer Chadwick was born on 25 Dec 1836, and christened on 12 Jan 1837 at New Chapel in Baldwin Street, St Helens, Lancashire. He was the son of James and Susanna Chadwick. His father's occupation was recorded as watchmaker, and the family's address as Eccleston. ^[1]

By June 6th 1841, they were living in Eccleston Street, Westfield, Eccleston in Prescot, Lancashire. Ebenezer's father was an optician. ^[2]

By March 30th 1851, they were living in Peter Street, Eccleston, Lancashire. Ebenezer's father was an optician. ^[3]
