Biography
Francesca Castro is born and baptized 25 May 1806, named after her paternal grandmother. She is the daughter of Francesco Castro and Lucia Cammarata. Her godparents are Bernardo and Gaetana Cutrone, a married couple.
Francesca appears the following year as a one year old infant in the Church's stato delle anime, living with her parents.
The family lives in a vanella, an alley, off the street behind Santa Maria, in Corleone. One of their neighbors in 1807 is Rosario Quaglino and his first wife, Carmela.
Francesca dies on 28 September 1809 at three years of age.
