Biography

Gaetano Cascio is born 14 August 1839 and baptized the next day, named after his maternal grandfather. He is the son of Maestro Carmelo Cascio and Pietra Bordonaro. His godparents are Gaetano and Maria Vita Triolo, who are not married.

Gaetano dies, reportedly at age three (actual age: two years and five months) on 21 January 1842. He has a brother with the same name, born in 1847.
