Francois Carriere was born on 10 March 1680 in Pointe-Aux-Trembles, Ile de Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of André Carrière and Cécile Janot.[1] Francois died at the age of 53 on 8 February 1734 at an unknown location.[citation needed]
