Biography

Richard Evelyn Byrd was born either 29 Dec 1800^{[citation needed]} or sometime in 1801.^[1]

He was the son of Thomas Taylor Byrd and Mary Anne Armistead.^[2][3]

He married Miss Anne Harrison in 1826 at Clifton, Cumberland, Virginia, United States.^[4]

He was a member of the Virginia Convention of 1850-1851.^{[citation needed]}

He passed away in 1872, and is buried in the Old Chapel Cemetery in Millwood, Clarke County, Virginia.^[1]
