Biography

Born Brenda was born in 1919 ^[1], the only daughter of William Brown and Elizabeth Calder. She was baptised on 3 May 1919 in Holy Trinity, Paddington, Westminster ^[2].

In 1921 ^[3] Brenda (2) was living with her parents at 5 South Parade, Wakefield.
The attached photo was taken a few years later, probably about 1925.
In 1939 ^[4] Brenda was a university student living with her parents at The Vicarage, Dewsbury, Yorkshire (West Riding) together with her brother William.

Marriage In July 1947 Brenda married Hector W Hopkins b1919 in Taunton Somerset ^[5]. They had two sons:

• Ian G Hopkins b 1948 ^[6]
• Malcolm D Hopkins b1950 ^[7]

Hector died in 1979 ^[8].

Died Brenda died age in 1997 ^[9].
