Biography

Why do I enjoy genealogy so much??? The Credit goes to God who started Genealogy and His "special memory keepers" - my sweet Grandma Madge GRAVES Widdifield , my sweet Grandma Hazel COFFMAN Brown, and the Best GREAT Grandma EVER!! - Rosa FALES Widdifield!! They kept such diligent records and photos of which they gave to me for safekeeping. I was blessed to have the "Family Historian Gene" and so goes the family. When I was a junior in high school, I had 3 Great Grandparents alive - something I thought was so normal, but soon realized it was really rare. My most enjoyable part of genealogy is Seeing and Reading what our grandparents and ancestors are like, so that is why I add the Photos & Stories that they gave me and I have for EVERYONE's enjoyment - after all, That is what God teaches and Families Are For: To Love One Another!

I am the oldest left in my family now with my Mom, Dad, and middle sister waiting in Heaven. I do have a brother and sister alive as well as my husband of 57 years and my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I am a Proud Mama of 5 children and thoroughly enjoyed being able to stay at home and raise them. That was the most important part of my life. Oops, I can't forget our spoiled Sheltie - Kody, he is such a cutie. Sadly, Our sweet Kody passed away at the age of 13 in the fall of 2020. We added two more shelties to Our home in Dec 2020 and Jan 2021. They are now just over 18 months old and have given us so many laughs and an over whelming amount of love. My husband and I did a lot of charity work at church and working on their security team.

I am the broken hearted Grandma to a 10 year old wonderful Grandson, Blake Michael Dickus 1996-2006 who was brutally Murdered with his Step-Mom (Not My Daughter), Chynna. Blake was My Daughter's ONLY child and Love of her life. It is a 16 YEAR UNsolved Double Homicide and you can find it on the internet by searching his name. I found Findagrave about a year after Blake was killed, that helped me get through some really rough days. The hardest part is that Blake always remains 10 years old even though he would now be 26 years old, and the unknowing of how tall he would be, what he would look like, so many questions left unanswered.

It has been SIXTEEN LONG YEARS on July 24 this year, 2022, that they have NOT found who murdered these two beautiful, loving people - Chynna and Blake Dickus. I always welcome a silent prayer from anyone for the perpetrator/s to be caught. (The new show Crime Watch Daily interviewed My Daughter and ex-son in law for TV. You can also find the interview on their website)

If you have any information regarding Chynna and Blake Dickus’ murders, please contact the Franklin Police Department at (317) 346–1142, or you may call anonymously at (317) 346–1100. There is still an active REWARD, up to $25,000.00, to be claimed by anyone who will give information that will help solve this case.

May God richly bless everyone who is reading this. Hug your family tight and value their wonderful lives. Carole Anne - bio was updated on 7 September 2022

Carole, thanks for the Craft-580 merge. Feel free to tweak anything you want. I went with PA for birthplace but not sure since both parents are listed as NC. I tried cleaning up the profile some after the merge. I adopted this profile a while back since he's a direct ancestor.

Greetings Carol,

My watchlist has become too over-whelming and I just orphaned about 35 Widdifield profiles if you are interested.

Have a great day!

Hello, just a word (late) to congratulate you on the contributions you made during the month of November. Whatever the quantity, they are all important.

Your work is appreciated.

Thanks

Greetings Carol,

I was just looking at the Death Record for Mary Widdifield that lists her as a married woman. On that same page is the death record for Ann Orton a married woman and both are reported by a Susan Widdifield of Uxbridge. Do you happen to have any info or profiles for these last 2 people? If Mary is married, did she marry another Widdifield as I show her being the daughter of Mark Widdifield and Susannah Hoagland Widdifield? Thanks for all of your research!

Thanks Carole for your shared research on the Widdifield lineage! What are your thoughts on the probability that John III married his step-mother Mary Lawrence after the death of his father?

Thanks for your work on WikiTree and Find A Grave as research is an on-going challenge.

Hi Carole,

Thank you for all the hard work you have put into the Vaught Family History. I appreciate all your notices for merging of the duplicates that I must have created. Don't know why I duplicated because there was no notice of a "match" when I submitted them. So sorry for that! Anyway, thank you again for all your hard work. When I retire I'm hoping to spend more time with the ancestors doing my most favorite hobby.  :) Please feel free to contact me here on Wiki or email. Regards, Carol

Greetings Carole,

If you need any help with the learning curve or would like assistance or TL (trusted list) access on any of our shared ancestors let me know. I don't have to tell you to beware... genealogy is so addictive and sourcing is monumental. According to the WT relationship finder, Carole Anne and David are 7th cousins.

Cheers!
