Biography

Thomas Brown was born in 1829 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, son of Ellen and John Brown.^[1]

He married Elizabeth Strachan Brown in 1851 at the Presbyterian Church in Melbourne, Victoria.^[2] Their children were:

• Isabella Henrietta Brown (1857–1934)^[1]
• Thomas Brown (1860– )^[3]

Thomas married Helen Brown in 1866 in Victoria.^[4] Their children were:^[1]

• Godfrey Brown (1870–1870)
• Montague Brown (1870–1942)

Thomas died on 27 April 1891 in South Yarra, Victoria, aged 61 years.^[5] His remains were buried at Melbourne General Cemetery in Carlton North, Victoria.^[1]
