Biography

Mary was born in 1914 to George Wesley Brown (son of George Francis Brown and Mary Ellen Barrett) and Annie Elizabeth McNeil. She married Carl Henry Rector in 1931. Carl Henry was unfortunately killed in action in WWII, July 18, 1944, and Mary never remarried. She passed away in Springhill, Nova Scotia on Sept 11, 1995

She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Henry Rector; daughters, Joan Smith, Joyce Boss, four in infancy; brother, John; granddaughter, Barbara Jewkes.
