The marriage license was issued in Bucks County, Pennsylvania (but they could have been married anywhere in Pennsylvania).
The date in the index is 8 March 1935 (but the index doesn't indicate whether it's the date they were married or the date the license was issued).

'WOODLAND TOWNSHIP—William F. Brown, 44, of Ray and Center Six, Beach Haven, was one of two drivers killed in a headon collision on Route 72 near Chatsworth Saturday.
'Red Lion state police identified the other driver as John Pennypacker, Philadelphia.
'Mr. Brown's son, William F. Brown Jr.. was killed in an automobile accident in Northern New Jersey four years ago.
'The elder Mr. Brown was employed as a mechanic at Priestly's Marina, Beach Haven. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II.
