2nd Corporal James Brisky was Killed in Action in the Pennisula Campaign in Virginia during Civil War.
He served the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. He was a 2nd Corporal in Company D., 14th Alabama Volunteers.
He was Killed in Action during the Penninsula Campaign in Virginia in August 1862. His burial is unknown but his has a Military Marker at the Briskey Cemetery, Chambers County, Alabama. The marker gives his death date as June 17, 1862.[1]
Research Notes
As with his father, he is buried in Briskey Cemetery and his headstone has Briskey. But other members of his family use the spelling Brisky.
