William's will documents reads as follows-
William Brickett servant to Sir Charles Wales of Potters Bar, died possesed of £110.00
And by his will date 17 September 1798 appointed his wife sole Executrix, Probate granted at Doctors Commons 8 February 1814 to Susannah Brickett otherwise Brickett widow and relict of the deceased, therein also described William Brickett othrwise Brickett othersiwse Sibley of Potter Bar in in the Parish of South Mimms in the county of Middlesex and in the will described of Potters Bar, aforesaid labourer and i n which are the following words.
Whereas on the 22 May 1792 I purchased the sum of £110.00, £% Bank annunities reduced in the name of William Brickett that being the name whereby I am usually called and acccepted the same and have given receipts for the dividends theron in that name and in that name I have intermarried with my wife and she is called by the name of Susannah Brickett now I hereby give to my said wife the sum of £55 being one monity of the said £110 reduced annunuties for her own absolute use, and I give to her the other moniety of such anuunities in trust to receive the dividends therof as they shall become payable and apply the same in equal shares towards the support of such children as I shall have by her living at my death until they shall respectively attain the age of 21 years and then to transfer equal shares of the capital thereof to them respectively provided always that if anyy of them died under that age I give his her or their share of shares in such dividends and capital in like manner to the survivor or suvivors of them and if all of them died under that age I give the said trust annunities to my said wife. Wrong person
Shortly before his death he was recorded on the 1841 census, age 80, as an agricultural labourer, sharing accommodation in Pinner with Mary Saunders age 70, both born in Middlesex.
William's death (age 83) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1842 in the Hendon district.[11] William (age 83) was buried on 13 March 1842 in Pinner, Pinner, London, Middlesex.[12]
