Mr. A. E. Braund, managing director of Gollin and Co. Pty., Ltd., died on Saturday night at his home, which he had recently acquired, at Point Piper. He had been ill only three days. from pneumonia, following influenza. Mr. Braund who was born in Adelaide (sic) on November 3, 1868 (sic), was educated at Prince Alfred College there. He became identified with Harold Bros, in that city, and subsequently went to West Australia as manager for George Wills and Co. In 1908 he joined Gollin and Co. as managing director with Mr. Alfred Gollin, and two years later he became, with Mr. W. J. Gollin (the founder of the firm), and later with Mr. P. W. R.
